Writing to Express Your Feelings
Most people don't realize how powerful writing can be - especially when it comes to expressing your feelings. To tell you the truth, writing is the best source of comfort you can get. Here are a few ways you can begin writing if you are feeling sad or angry.
Keep a Diary
For each day you experience - you'll want to write down a summary of what happened. You can look through this later on and even share it with your children someday. It's a fun way of looking back.
Start an Anger Log
If you want to write to express your feelings, you should use an anger or sadness log. Write why your upset and spill your feelings on paper. Believe it or not, this is as equivalent as talking with someone. Writing also helps you think things through.
